kernel failed building kernel on Ubuntu 16.04: Can't use 'defined(@array)'

Error while building kernel with Ubuntu16.04:

  TIMEC kernel/timeconst.h
Can't use 'defined(@array)' (Maybe you should just omit the defined()?) at kernel/timeconst.pl line 373.
