Trace32 Installion on Windows

Windows 2000 Professional, Lauterbach Power Debug Interface/USB2 (LA-7708 DEBUG-USB2) + LA7742 JTAG-ARM9

1. insert CD, if there is no autorun, go run [cd_driver]:\setup.bat.
2. [New Installation] -> [ICD In-Circuit-Debugger] -> [USB Interface] -> choose [ICD ARM7 ARM9 ARM10 ARM11]
   
3. default intalled at c:/T32
4. make sure the configuration, config.t32
   

   LINK=USB

5. power on the ICE, plug the usb to PC
6. Windows would found the device and driver should be installed already, one can also found it at [cd_driver]:\bin\t32usb.inf
7. run c:/T32/t32w95.exe (default use config file config.t32) or
   

   t32w95.exe -c c:\T32\config_file.t32

   第一次執行會出現ER2, 第二次以後會出現ER3
   
   
8. 直接跑c:/T32/t32marm.exe
9. 跑c:/T32/t32start.exe
   [ConfigurationTree] -> [Add: Configuration] -> [Add: Podbus Device Chain] -> [Add: Podbus Debug USBII (or USB?)] -> [Add: Core] -> [Target: ARM/XScale/Janus] -> [Core] -> [Start]
   (這樣的程序也是跑t32marm.exe)
   EO1, EO2

ER1:

==> ICE not connected to PC, or driver not installed.

ER2

FATAL ERROR from device-driver: this TRACE32 unit cannot work with controller resident software
CONFIG: config.t32

FATAL ERROR from device-driver: TRACE32 connection error (receiving garbage)
CONFIG: config.t32
